Since class size is limited, registration and payment is required prior to the day of the class. Please call 512-218-9555 to register.
Refunds for classes are not given unless the class is canceled by Round Rock Yarn & Fiber Studio.
Learn to knit and/or crochet
Details; $10 plus materials. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment necessary. Private instruction for individuals or small groups is available. Please e-mail or call for more information regarding private instruction.
Knitting With Beads
Saturday 3/23, 10:30-12:30
Details; $35 plus materials purchased at the shop. Learn how to embellish your knitted items with beads. You'll learn how to cast on with beads, how to knit with a string of beads, and how to use a crochet hook to bead as you knit. We'll also work on a lovely beaded scarf.
Fix-It Clinic
Saturday 3/23, 1-3
Details; $35 plus materials purchased at the shop if needed. Learn how to spot mistakes and how to fix them. We'll learn how to fix slipped or skipped stitches, twisted stitches, dropped stitches, and more. Bring in any projects you're working on that may need fixin'!
Beginning Weaving
Saturday 3/30, 9:30-4
Details; $70, plus $25 for loom rental for one week (rental fee is deducted from the price of the loom if you decide to purchase it), and yarn purchased at the shop. In this one day class, you'll learn how to weave a beautiful scarf as well as other tips and techniques to produce your own handwoven lovelies! Bring lunch or we can order pizza, whatever you would like.
Crochet for Knitters
Saturday 3/30, 10:30-12:30
Details; $35 plus materials purchased at the shop if needed. Crocheting is fast and fun and is a lovely way to embellish your knitted items. Learn basic crochet stitches such as chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, etc.
Advanced Sweater Workshop
Saturdays  4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27 10:30-12:30
Details; $70 plus materials purchased at the shop. Make an heirloom sweater of your dreams for you or someone else. Choose any pattern you would like; cables, lace, aran, gansey, etc. You'll learn all the skills you need to know to complete your sweater and you will enjoy ongoing support once the workshop has ended to ensure you complete your project. Skills needed; You must be a graduate of the beginners level Sweater Workshop or you must have already completed at least 1 sweater. Space is limited so register early!
Beginning Lace on Linen
Saturday 4/6; 10:30-12:30
Details; $25 plus pattern and materials purchased at the shop. Learn to knit lovely tea towels using a luscious linen blend yarn. The lace pattern is very adaptable and gauge is not critical.
Spinning on a Wheel
Tues. 4/9 & Thurs. 4/11; 1-3
 Wed. 4/24 & Fri. 4/26; 10:30-12:30
Details; $50 for 2 sessions plus any necessary supplies purchased at the shop. The shop has 1 wheel to rent ($15 for 1 week)  otherwise, you must already own a wheel. This is a beginning class for folks who want to learn to spin on a wheel or for beginners who want to improve their skill. Set-up, treadling, drafting, and achieving consistent yarn will be covered.
La Fleur Clutch
Saturdays 4/20, 4/27, 5/4; 1-3
Details; $50 includes yarn and dyeing materials. This is a fun, three part class. In the first class, you'll be choosing your colors and dyeing your yarn. We'll be using non-toxic food coloring to dye our yarn. Then, in the second class, you'll be learning a simple color-work technique. And finally, in the third class, you'll be putting your clutch together. You will need to purchase a 6 1/2" clasp, 1/2 yard of fabric, and the pattern outside of the shop.
